HISTORY
OF THE KECCS PLAN
The Kansas
Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems (KECCS) plan is the nexus
of Governor Kathleen Sebelius and the early childhood community in Kansas
to develop a comprehensive system that promotes school readiness. The
plan is the culmination of a two year planning process that merges the
Kansas vision of being the best place to raise a child with the reality
of the early childhood system in Kansas.
